I’m not bothered about that, I’m just saying that the Hunter should’ve been a British vehicle. All the ones in the Brit Tree have fairly obvious downsides (F.1 is the same BR as the J34, which is objectively better - more engine power and missiles, FGA.9 is unavailable and lacks flares, F.6 has no flares and has SRAAM which is inconsistent as all hell and, from what we know, probably shorter ranged than it should be)
The F.58 should’ve been the chance to correct that. Instead, ends up in the German Tree (WHY? There’s better arguments for it going to France iirc)
I really do not care about the Leopard, it’s a distinctly German vehicle. I’d rather see buffs for the Challengers.
As for the Hornet, iirc it was actually considered by the UK, at least at some point. Obviously never in service but perhaps could do an F-16AJ sort of thing?

I really think the CF-18 is a better choice than opening the can of worms that is evaluation vehicles

American made plane in swiss service. Why should it go to Germany?
we’re almost to part 4 damn.
F-4F ICE will be amraam carrier
Yeah… exactly.
A Phantom with AMRAAM is hardly a top tier vehicle.

I don’t mind which it is, I just think they should get something to fill the 13.0 BR when it comes
No I do agree, but for whatever reason there seems to be an obsession with making sure the Canadians never appear in the British tree. Despite the fact the Ran Family, and the Adoots M113 already exist there.

Maybe very early eurofighter with poor engines.
they have more ties to Argentina and smin has already stated that Germany is the home of Argentina

When is the next major update anyway?
couple weeks at the earliest.
I’m not sure how the prototype or early version differs from production.
If it always had AESA radar from the start that could be a problem.
to be entirely fair to Apollo iirc we didn’t even get an evaluation vehicle for Hornet. It was literally a proposal and that’s as far as it went. F-14 iirc would be more likely for that instance, but that a) got binned, and b) wouldn’t fit the tree considering what we’re after.
dang i might miss out on it :(
EF didn’t. It had a Mechanical Radar, though it’s worth noting it has performance better than that of the radar on the Gripens (PS-05, which is a distant cousin to Blue Vixen)
So you’d still have the best radar there is at this point, just not AESA.
