Maybe if you grind it fast but after sometime you will get dragged up aswell.
Considering the Leo2a7V and Leo2A5 are still the same br I fear for the worst.
AESA TWS is LEAGUES better than the crappy mechanical TWS we have in game. Its basically impossible to confuse even if its tracking 20+ craft at the same time.
Britain already has a tank with active protection.

Yeah… Im ready to power grind it. But I can see it going like the gr7. Reasonable Br to start with, massively over BRed and in need of buffs within a month and those buffs wont come for another 8 months

Idk, I think a proper AESA radar would be very strong, even if gaijin gimped the snot out of it. Basically it would be dev server 1 F-14A back in Danger Zone but with missiles that don’t suck and WAY more scanning space
The C would have more loadout options. I guess the K would be A C&P

Excuse me if I bore you with a very specific issue on a relatively rare vehicle. It is related to the topic though.
The XM8 (US event tank) has a long standing bug where it is missing blow-out functionality for it’s ammunition. The vehicle is basically made of ammo rack, so this is what you’d call a critical error.
Yet it goes unresolved for years, it hasn’t been touched since it was added in 2021. Why? Because the vehicle has already been sold. After the event is over, what state the vehicle is in evidently doesn’t matter. Gaijin has already made their money.
Fixing the bug probably means diverting attention away from new content they can sell, or from issues that affect popular vehicles. This effectively leaves the players who obtained this vehicle as “bag holders”, as it will fade from attention and never be fixed.

Yeah long story short the 1972 F-14A is able to fight the 2016 MiG-29SMT. Giant ass time gaps have been able to fight each other since forever, the F-4F ICE will be nothing new here.

Soviet tech is about 30 years behind most western tech. I dont think the Russians have really innovated anything new since the fall of the USSR and even then, they didnt really in the last few years because they were broke

I don’t think APS is the only factor here but the package as a whole.
Leopard 2A7 and Strv 122 are generally agreed to be the best tanks in game.
I expect as much, but I don’t think it matters, especially if they don’t offer anything else besides fast/instant scan patterns (i.e. they get notched and multipathed the same).
I’m just seeing a repeat of claims of OP-ness without taking into account the Gaijin factor and how things get balanced as they’re put into the game. These planes with AESA have to come at some point and there’s only so many aircraft that carried them (some of them Gen 5s!). We can only say “game isn’t ready for them” for so long, but was the game ready for missiles, gen 4s, irccm missiles, fox 3s, etc.?
