So not sure if this is mentioned and take it with a grain of salt if not, but the new Su-27SM devblog does not mention J-11A which is strange.
The Air Superiority devblogs both mention:
F-15 Eagle: A Jet Fighter for the USA, Japan and Israel at Rank VIII
Su-27 and J-11: A Jet Fighter for the USSR and China at Rank VIII
But the Su-27SM one just says:
Su-27SM: A Jet Fighter for the USSR at Rank VIII

Perhaps it means China is getting something else. When the F-15C devblog drops, can examine that too. It would explain why they’re starting off strong with the known aircraft devblogs, as opposed to ones we don’t know to generate more hype.
Of course, it could just be a mistake and be edited later to add the J-11A to the Su-27SM devblog.

no but we dont need them at all, the 2 “unique” options you gave is literally at 10.3 a BR the UK has zero need for them with 3 Competitive MBTs a SAM, 2 planes, a helicopter, and soon to be a light tank

I’m sure UK build and worked on enough stuff to have enough domestic things everywhere without the need to reach every commonwealth region, specially if those subTT use stuff from already others ingame nations

in some areas yes, at top tier the only super effective tank we have is the challenger 3TD the other challenger 2s fall behined pretty much every other top tier MBTs hence the want for a single leopard
Because Su-27SM and J-11A are not C&P unlike Su-27 and J-11
Neither are F-15A and F-15J (as it’s an F-15C).
Similarly, the F-16A devblog says:

But at the time we only knew of the F-16A (block 10) whereas the others got the ADF and MLU variants.

Sub trees aren’t about need, it’s about cool factor, gap filling, and so forth.
Arjun would replace my 9.3 in my 10.3 lineup, and be cool.
Su-30MKI would be cool despite it being equivalent to Typhoon.
Tejas would be a cool 12.0 - 12.7 delta design.
i would rather have a SA gripen with made up loadouts and if you have seen any of my other posts then yeah no terrible idea
The J-11A and the Su-27SM are not the same aircraft.
