Next Major Update - Rumor Round-Up & Discussion (Part 3)

na only other nations get cool premium we get slapped with “its got a 50cal tho”

I thought OES was a later modification, hence the 50 cal

ohh look you are totally wrong

The Leonardo Enforcer (remote weapon system) that is mounted on the Challenger 2F, TES and OES can be equipped with a 7.62mm MG, A 12.7mm HMG or a 40mm Grenade launcher.

Its just Gaijin being Gaijin.

No reason why all the Chally 2s couldnt get a 50 cal.

Please explain

Because it is. OES is literally TES but in 2012 standard while in-game TES is from 2008 iirc

In game there is literally no difference other then the 50cal which the automated machine gun mount is fully exchangeable between a FN Mag, M2 and Mk19

TES but 50 cal, and the same shitty camo nets

Make me reminder than only the Leclerc AZUR have an MG on the roof, for every other Leclercs Gaijin didn’t bothered model more than the metal arms for theses MGs but never wanted to give them xD

Ouch. Obviously would ahve been too OP. Loadouts are balancing decision after all

which still dont reduce your thermal signature in game

Bring Submarines, or give China / Sweden its Bluewater / Coastal

no and absolutely not

They ALL have both MGs support, but it’s empty. So boring.

why not ??

Its coming and you can’t stop it, but im interested in why not ??

My main issue is honestly that they look terrible and ruin a beautiful tank. I think if barracuda was actually added the Cr2 would be a good test

You know we’ll be last right?

CAN has (different) 3rd gen thermals only for the gunner, PSO armor package, slat armor and camo net + potentially spall liners aswell.

PL only has turret armor improvements with standard AMAP blocks and 3rd gen thermals for gunner and commander. Hull remains unchanged in game-sense compared to regular 2A4.

I do not feel like explaining what Cr2 OES is, ehhh

The reason other Leclercs don’t have their roof MG is that the vehicle needs to be NBC sealed when firing (due to the lack of fume extractor). For that reason, when the gun is armed and in use, the commander/gunner can’t open their hatch to use the roof mounted MG. Thus gaijin said that the Leclerc should not be allowed to use their roof mounted MG in the game environment.
I’d argue this is a bit stupid since in game the user of manually operated roof MG don’t stick their heads out.
I would personally think either Leclercs should receive their roof MGs, or all other tanks with manually operated roof MG would need to open their hatch (becoming partly open top) with the user sticking its head out (usually the commander), making it much more vulnerable
