might be a better choice doesn’t mean it is the right one, I would rather the got the Su27 since if the DDR didnt collapse when it did they would have used the Su27, instead of getting the F18 from a nation that they have a single vic from
same way the CF18 would have been a far better option then the Gripen since it uses mainly made up load outs, where as the CF18 would have a ton of historical loadouts, but we got the Gripen since we have south africa.
Which means germany is most likely to get an Argentinean F16

I think the argentinian F-16 is the best option. It will give Germany more CAS options with mavericks and would be more future proof with AIM-120s. It’s just a good all round package.
The Su-27 without R-77 will likely not be fun when ARH missiles release and it’s main role (missile bus) becomes hard countered and from the suggestion the swiss only used their 18Cs for air and never bought any cas armament for it.
Well tbh i dont think Gaijin cares if certain nation did buy armaments or not.
As long as vehicle is approved to use any kind of armament its fine in their eyes.
