Germany has had plenty of small additions like the TAM series and the controversial Sk105 for the ground stuff, doesn’t really mean that it needed a subtree for ground either.
I get that the air situation is complicated but as it stands German air only needed one or two stop gaps until the eventual EFTs, so having an entire subtree is overkill.
