I’m definitely pro independent BeNeLux but wouldn’t like to see Indonesia under it:
- Don’t want MiG-21’s in a Dutch tree if it can be avoided.
- Their national identity is about kicking out the Dutch. (I’m saying this as a Dutchman having lived nearly a decade in Indonesia)
I would love for Indonesia to come though, ideally under a SEA tree but alternatively under other nations would be better. Japan would be sensitive, and despite people there considering them more brutal than the Dutch during the 3 years they were there keep the following in mind:
-They left without Indonesia having to fight them out.
-Before they left the intention was to declare Indonesia independent with Japans consent. Progress was already underway.
-Almost all the first Indonesian’s military equipment was left behind by the Japanese.
Having said that…I also don’t want MiG-21’s etc in the Japanese tree if that can be avoided…

They were allies against the Japanese, they even used our equipment during that time.
If Japan does end up as some sort of SEA tree as some mod had vaguely hinted at I can see Indonesia coming to Japan too. But another option would be as part of a possible South Korean tree due to their close military ties.

Ah yes but then it should be Moluccan subtree. Not all of Indonesia. That would totally make sense. I can’t imagine more than a handful of ww2 era vehicles though.

Exactly, not ideal but if I had to throw a dart at what is currently the most logical place for it then Japan.
Besides, nowadays Indonesians (the people, not sure about the gov) love anything Japanese. Or Korean for that matter.

Don’t care how, as long as it’ll come. Ideally premium so I can grind some SL with it since I plan to play it a lot.
Even more ideally, there’ll be like 3 variants at least.
Different engine/mg/cannon variants and I think there was a light bomber version too. I’ll go for a full Fokker G1 line up, I don’t care.

For me, I hope its either a Tech-tree or a GE Premium since I wouldn’t mind that at all. But If it is a Event or BP then I feel that would be a miss opportunity. (In my honest opinion)
