Next Major Update - Rumor Round-Up & Discussion (Part 3)

Yes. It doesn’t add much, maybe only 10-20mm of pen, but it’s still something.

i remember through a picture of a russian presentation the difference was around 30 or 40 mm of extra penetration over 3BM60 altough im not sure

@XSpaz1NOuTX
M829A1 will still be better than it.
Yes, A1, 125mm ammo manufacturers don’t make a round as good as A2.

I was just making a guess, so I could be wrong. I don’t know the exact values.

I am aware.

yeah, ur right

damn they seem to be missing quite a lot of penetration ingame

These are LOS values, not 0º ones, though, I believe!

I am going to run a Lanz-Odermatt that gives the values in 0º 0m values.

Stand by!

It’s done at NATO standard angle… which is 60 degrees.

Besides I noticed it uses wrong velocity values hahah

I am remaking it manually

ah ok

How strange… I am getting lower values for 3BM60 than Gaijin’s.

That means Gaijin uses a different parameter for some metric. Either higher density, or whatever.

EDIT: screw it, this is confusing, xD.

Regardless, it always appears like 3BM59 is indeed a marginal improvement over 3BM60.

Why am I not surprised even slightly :D

Your reverse psychology tricks wont work on me this time, silly.

I am probably using wrong parameters hahahah

I was getting 525mm at 0º, but that seems too low xD

Man I’m really fiending for an aim120 rn…

Gaijin + soviet tanks. you never know. Though youd think theyd have been called out for it by now.

Cause the math is hard to learn, and the average forum user will have difficulties learning it.
Spanish may get there with enough practice.

APFSDS isn’t exclusive to the Soviets…

They are either gunna be hilarously fun and redfine the meta or a total flop and rarely worth equipping. I dont think they will be anywhere between those to extremes

But yes, I want them too
