Next Major Update - Rumor Round-Up & Discussion (Part 2)

How about that still missing Rank 4 US SPAA? Any indications thats going to be added soon?

I mean, I know that everything and its mother has .50cal there, but it would be nice to have something, so we wouldn’t have to suffer RP penalties with lower rank SPAAs…

Not panicked, just confused on my end, based on how Gaijin deployed the F-15A.

My cursory reading says the F-15C and E are in fact intended to split responsibilities and that the A is also A2A only. My only real question is, will Gaijin give it the ability to drop GBU-8’s like A anyways? If they do, the F-15C is a problem.

If they give it the F-15J treatment, it won’t matter as much. 3 2000lber’s is the price of admission in the supersonic age.

I want to be more reasonable and suggest the MiG-29SMT, but it just doesn’t carry enough, while the Su-30M, admittedly in the current meta, probably carries just a little too much.

Okay. For the braindead, or less than proficient CAS players, Pantsir is an absolute monster. I’ve had 7-9 air kill games before. However, F-15’s at altitude, and JAS-39’s beyond 6km range are absolutely a huge pain in the ass to face.

I want to agree with you, but I can’t ultimately. I see maybe two other players per match, bother to spawn in any SPAA, let alone a Pantsir. Also, ITO-90 and the Roland family are both equally as capable for almost any situation. I can’t shake them in the ol’ Su-39 under 8km, and I have little stand-off weaponry that is quick to detect and launch on enemy SPAA. I’m learning to fly differently, but doing this in a Sukhoi airframe would be much, much easier. F-15C with GBU-8’s, should it come, will be almost as much easy mode as the JAS-39.

The multipliers are the same as the winter event ones were.

You mean the F-15As that have to get within 6-7km to lock a target with their guided bombs?

I can deal with most targets within 6-7km with my ADATS and FlaRakRads. The Pantsir should be even better lol.

Yes and with KF-51 specifically changed for export :)

The only change in war thunder will be you dont jave to keep your throttle at 95% to prevent over heating, you will be able to go up to 96%

I don’t really see them that high to be honest, plus they should be a step below the AV-8’s because for some reason the UK decided that it would be better to have the worse dogfighter as the ‘Fleet Air Defence Fighter

I’d rather they got shitty AMRAAM’s but were usable than have good AMRAAM’s but be sitting ducks, either way they will be sitting ducks but still.

Thats weird, i thought we will be seeing a premium type 90 soon, turns out to not be the case.

Is there any chance that they will improve M735 penetration?

Great, thx for that! Looking forward to the air prize.
Love your work btw, always a joy to see the datamines, especially around the devservers.

you probably will anyway

Didn’t the guy on bilibili originally state that the new Italian battleship would be Vittorio Veneto, then correct themselves to mean da Vinci ?

are you seriously asking a B O A T question?

Yes but it was still before the da Vinci was announced.

It 's relevant to our understanding of leaklist accuracy.

Similarly to how they mistook the J 9 as an F2A. My working theory is that they don’t get filenames, but see the models and try to identify them that way.

How would someone have access to the models but not the filenames. Any software rendering them would also display the filename somewhere…unless if they are being fed screenshots from the inside. Screenshots intentionally having filenames omitted.

Or they view it from a distance. Across rhe street with binos from WT hq 😂

the same way we got the model leak like 4 yrs ago
