Yeah, the OCU and ADF are basically just less capable versions of the MLU here. I don’t think any has a drogue chute, but they all can mount 9Ms (I believe I’ve seen them mounted on them in Thai service too, but I might’ve confused them with 9L) and the MLU should have TWS.

It’s my favorite aircraft period and the only game right now I get to play with it is Ace Combat. So yea, I’m really excited for this one, whenever they decide to add it. Basically have mountains of cash, waiting to throw it at Gaijin as soon as they put it into the game lol.
I saw this F-16A but not sure if that’s a drogue chute or just strengthening after some collision it had. Regardless, that is unfortunate.
At least TWS is something finally.

Interesting, I’ve never seen this one before.
That does appear to be a drogue chute, likely fitted from another aircraft during the repairs. Sadly it’s an OCU, not an MLU, so it’d bei either this or TWS with Thai F-16s, but this would be a nice feature to make a potential Thai F-16 OCU a bit more unique.

I’d take drogue chute tbh, as landing on belly is too weirdly efficient.
TWS would be great for dedicated CAP role but that’s what the F-2 is for, eventually.

I think I’ve heard that the Norwegians and some other country fitted Chutes to their F-16s due to their doctrine requiring a shorter landing distance, unsure tho
imo there should be a bonus when landing with severe damage

Betting? I don’t know about that. Adding the ARENA APS is a stretch, I think. But the T-80UM-1 Bars is also pictured without the Arena installed, so maybe we get that?
I’d take a BoatBleg today if it means the season finally starts and Friday and Monday/Tuesday bring more.
