Next Major Update - Rumor Round-Up & Discussion (Part 2)

The Sparrows, and the 9Ms are wrong on it too.

Sparrows are accurate.
All F-16Cs can fire Sparrows, the company kept that compatibility.

I thought only early prototype A could and production couldn’t

But it never used them, Israel never had em on it, so it shouldnt have them.

Also,Barak is not 16C

Doesn’t matter if militaries chose not to use them, we’re not playing a milsim.
War Thunder is not and has never been a military larping game.

F-15Js got countermeasures without the Japanese MSIP upgrades. Japanese MSIP was a different upgrade to the US MSIP. Countermeasures were added earlier and are still found on aircraft that never received the MSIP upgrades.

MSIP mainly upgrades the engines to -220 standard and the radar to APG-63(V)1. This was also the upgrade that would include AAM-4 integration.

That was fake, no?

AAM-4 came over a decade after.
But it brought AARH integration, which AAM-4 was designed around.

You have some of the most interesting takes out of anyone I’ve seen, and not in a good way.

Are you saying we won’t see F-15C MSIP (including F-15J MSIP)?

Those I would consider a modest AMRAAM carrier…

Modest would be 4 - 6 on a lesser capable gen 4 or more capable gen 3 airframe.
Not 8 missiles on one of the best airframes.
I doubt we’ll see MSIP this major; Definitely this year, just not this major.

Anyone see any new “leak lists”? idc if they’re fake, I just like to see them

I think that leak list was confirmed to be fake by none other than Olivia

What do you mean by this?

I think she said that the list was posted by someone being called “Olivia” on a discord channel, that wasnt her. But she didnt confirm or contradict the content of the list.

Edit: See the third post after the one you linked to.
