Yep, the two major choices were either a South African Gripen or the CF-18, both are viable choices.

You basically have two windows for CAS. “F&F” when you spawn. The first window assumes you can find and target the SPAA’s in the spawn before they find you, or at least some juicy options that have high probability. After that you dip down and to the side, and then need to use geography to pop up on SPAA, this is the second window. I recommend high caliber rockets or bombs for this, sweep through to the spawn and do your best. From there, assuming no one else has points for SPAA, or that you can at least repeat the previous, you will continue to sweep through the map, trying to attack run through and find geography again. Circling will eventually get you killed.
If in a helicopter you really need to bounce around the treeline/ridgeline of the map.
Just my 2 cents. I’ve been playing 11.7 for over a month now, and this is the only thing that has kind of worked. Then again, I’m playing in an Su-39, if you have speed, LGB’s, and a thermal targeting pod, you might be able to just orbital strike people, lol.
The CF18s addition discussion hinges on if they will give the SA Gripen AMRAAMS

and if you think about it the south african gripen makes more sense cause of how many south african vehicles aare in the british tree
The issue over the Gripen was its loadout is ahistorical Sir

I get where you’re coming from, but there’s around 7 or more Canadian vehicles in the British tree:
-QF 3.7 Ram
-Skink
-CANADATS
-3-inch Gun Carrier (someone mentioned it to me a while back)
-HMCS Brantford
-HMCS Terra Nova
-HMCS Haida
And idk about any major planes.
Imo Canada is just as viable as other Commonwealth nations like Australia and South Africa

What? Whos aid anything about an F16 or f18?
At the time it was down to a historical CF-188 or A-historical Gripen.
That and SA used the Gripen C which was a later version than the A.
One was any easy C&P well the other was technically a unique craft. the Gaijin has made them the same for some reason.

I saw that the Gun Carrier was only(on the old from) used by Canada but I can’t find anything on that.
