Yeah it would. Biggest disappointment of the Gr1 for me wasn’t the aircraft itself. It was the fact it came with no unique weapon systems or tech (like radar). Gr1 had loads of options. Even just Sea eagles.

Gaijin seems to be willing to add more premiums though, especially if it’s one they figure will sell well along with all the others.
