The M48A2C itself is an American vehicle that was bought by West Germany. The M48A2CGA1 is a version that was modified by West Germany. If the M48A2C in the German tree is also a modification done by West Germany, then it should stay, however, as far as I know, it isn’t.

Vehicles of which the development had nothing to do with either nation should not be added to the German trees unless they are to fill a gap of capability. Every gap East German vehicles can fill can be filled by (West) German vehicles.

This is a claim without evidence, and do not post evidence of all pre-MSIP F-15As lacking countermeasures unless it’s declassified and export unrestricted.
The XF-2 with the APG-68 could lack countermeasures, which makes it improbable for War Thunder if that’s the case.
F-2 is a production aircraft so XF-2 would get normal prototype treatment such as with Leopard 2K.
And F-16AJ has zero differences to the YF-16 America showed as the F-16AJ display, none.
F-16AJ also will be delisted in the future if any 12.0 is added unless rules change.

That may be true. I haven’t really looked at the specifics of the one in game and compared it to the M48A2CGA1; I’m just operating off the name. And yes, it is a very long name.
