Next Major Update - Rumor Round-Up & Discussion (Part 2)

The problem for me is it didnt use to be this bad
It used to be fairly accurate at least good enough but at some point in the past few majors it got bugged and is now really buggy/jittery compared to before

Il use helicopters as an example they just hover there and the lead indicator jitters all over and 50% of the time switches to a solution that falls way short

I find its way more accurate to just laser the heli and start lobbing shells towards him than trying to use the janky ass lead indicator that they broke some how

Need… EX… and XL… please trailer tomorrow

XL event next week :3

make the 2a6ex event

Meh there’s better event Leopards

“Technically possible”

  • removes r-77-1 from su30mkm
  • first Su30SM at 13.7 because gaijin
“Su30MKM: BR Reduced from 14.3 to 13.7 due to removal of RVV-SD, we will closely monitor it’s efficiency”

Or just adds another premium version at 13.3.

Add basic Su-30s to 13.7 and go along.

Ducks sake we need the Chinese Su-30MK2 to end the premium Su torture.

And just strip Malaysian sub tree no need for them after adding Thai Gripen E

Can’t really logically compare Su30SM and the MKK/MK2, one is a genuine massive upgrade the other is a fatter Su27S with 2 seats

[Development] Electronically Scanned Array Modeling Improvements

We’re constantly working on air technologies prior to the introduction of 5th generation aircraft which is still planned for the future but with this update, we’re getting closer than ever.

We’re introducing new mechanics to further model ESA radars to closely match the performance of their realistic counterparts. With this upcoming update, you will not lose track of targets when switching modes such as switching from air target search to surface search. This would allow your radar to switch between modes while being committed to updating current targets.

Another new ESA mechanic you should see with this update is intermittent momentary search. Even when you have pre-selected an area for your radar to search for targets in, your radar will momentarily create new beams to search for targets outside of the pre-selected areas in the background so there’s lower likelihood of being surprised by an undetected target. We’ll continue to improve ESA modeling in the future as well!

one can cope and hope about gaijin ever making ESA something more than fast mech

I don’t know much about them honestly, over than its premium version gets spammed heavily

Yeah the spam makes it horrendous to face, which yk could be fixed by limiting how many there can be in a match but oh well, gaijin and using logic.

Spoiler

Or giving us the god damn BR decompression and higher max BR for Air RB that we are asking for in the thousands. But surely a eurofighter and rafale HAVE to face 13.7s lol (as an example here)

I just want enemy air indicators in the Scorpion HMD.

My PoBIT and Block 50 sim gaming will be so much funner once that’s added.

My corpse is decomposing since the new Scorpion on Rafale lacks it

The report for it has been accepted so hopefully it’s fixed soon.

[DEV] Thales Scorpion HMD missing air-to-air markers on F-16CM’s

It’s only been accepted as a suggestion though as there isn’t much info on what the air to air markers look like only some from promotional images.

Although seeing as how a bunch of other HMD’s like JHMCS, Targo II, J-10’s HMD (currently just a copy of Targo), and plenty more are all missing their air to air markers and have been for years now I wouldn’t hold my breath.
