I was just wondering, now we have another Challenger 2 OES coming to the game, has any progress been made on the ability to remove the additional armour?

It was reported and accepted around 7 months ago after the SEP V.2 got an ability to do the same thing.

speaking of bug reports, hasn’t this already been fixed? i asked in a previous post but it was a sidenote to asking info on the classic ready rack and spall liner ones

The trunnion pins were not present inside the mantlet, they were only present inside the turret cheeks.
They should fill the space inside the main trunnion, which currently is empty.
If I’m correct this should be quite a nice buff to the mantlet armour, but I’m not totally sure if the fix they’ve done will be the case.

Hey. Currently the new premium doesn’t feature any difference there to the current version. But if it is updated, it would apply to both.
These types of suggestions can take some time (as was the case with the SEP) as the tank has to be reviewed in its physical and DM meshes to make sure everything is correct and as intended when they are removed.

personally i think now is the worst time to have the module removable cause the chally 2 TES and OES are the best 11.7 tanks against the BMPT

I only wish there was more openness when it came to the sources the devs are using instead of them being so quiet about them, it’d greatly help the game become more accurate if the players could know what the devs were working with when it comes to information for bug reports.
But alas, I suppose that’s more wishful than reasonable.
