It’s not the existing Taiwanese F-16A MLU model in the game at least.
It’s got the fuselage strengthening straps that are on the Norwegian F-16AM and no other F-16 currently in the game
I don’t actually think those should be on a Taiwanese F-16 though. Theirs were new-built at MLU standard as “Block 20”, where the jets that do have them are Blocks 15/15OCU that were upgraded to MLU. So they should have been built with reinforcements in those areas. Haven’t seen them in photos of Taiwanese F-16As or F-16Vs at least
The Belgian F-16AM has some strengthening straps, but correctly they are only at the base of the tail fin on Belgian F-16s. The rumoured Dutch F-16AM for this update should have fuselage straps like the Norwegian one, and shown in the GBU-53/B image.
So potentially it’s from the current development, and Gaijin have used the same F-16AM/MLU/Block 20 model as the basis for both new additions.

If everything’s gets 16 small IR bombs then what’s the point of larger aircraft that have far greater payloads like the F-15E
And doesn’t EFT already have SPICE on all the stations it was shown to be on in promotional material?
I wondered the same thing when these changes went live. I guess we will find out with the release of the update if it was a “balance” decision or not.
Maybe in future they allow 28 GBU-53 for F-15E. Also would 16 GBU-53 only be on belly?
Yeah… we’ll see. Wouldnt be surprised if they didnt though.
But the mach limit is pretty much the only reason why I have never actually used them bar 1 match where I tried them out and decided it wasnt worth it (air modes, I dont see the point in playing higher than 10.3/10.7 in GRB at the moment)

It can take 20 GBU-53 on belly just like GBU-39
Is there any evidence of supersonic drops for the SPICE-250
So it would still be better then F-16 since it would still be able to take 6 AGM-65 along with 20 GbU-53

Im still not sure if the F-15E will get them.
It could get them, but at 12.7, they may want to leave it alone, even 16x GBU-53 would move it up to 13.0.
The F-15E can still carry 16 GBU-53 + 6x mavs.
Just because some people need overpowered CAS as a crutch for their skill issue on the ground doesn’t mean we should add the F-15E with 20-28 of them.
I’m telling you. They are adding the F-15E with the AESA radar this update (not the F-15EX, just the F-15E RMP) and to make it more enticing for people to grind they’ll give GBU-53Bs to that new version. Exactly the same situation as the AESA EFT in december.
Do I have proof for this? absolutely not, but I got a funny feeling.
