You’re mixing two different things. Your concern and intention should rather be the improvement over the current Brimstone’s implementation, considering that now we are receiving better tech for other FnF ammunition.
I don’t think Taiwan has F-16Vs yet, which kinda makes me think F-CK-1 or a later F-16 they have upgraded

So far no LOAL has been talked about or shown, we don’t know if we will be able to lock a target when a missile is launched in point mode.
F-CKs can’t carry GBU-53s, it IS a F-16 but we don’t know which one
Why should brimstones get that capability and not other nations? If brimstones got LOAL like that then JAGM could get it and you would be back to complaining

can then pre-designated target be a target point set via the map or must it be vehicle locked onto LOBL?
and im not proposing adding Mode 3 Brimstones. Only Mode 2.

That should be the only difference. IIRC PoBIT should upgrade American F-16 Airframes to block 70 standard

There isn’t anything to unpick, it’s literally as shown in the video. Connect to the video feed of a missile in flight and redesignate from there.
