Next Major Update - Rumor Round-Up & Discussion (Part 2)

completely agree but I’m going to say this after buying a premium t72 back in the sale it feels so much more tanky, but I blame simply the size of weakspots that cripple the tank and most situations average players find themselves in

100% in all honesty if I saw a leak that included the m3a4 and had some of the leaks turn out right because they came from a good source I would believe the fake for a bit.

Gaijin please give me it

CAN WE BELIEVE on the LEAK? OR is it all FAKE? - War Thunder

well the US F-35s have test fired the Meteor (can’t find the image) and are going through more testing for the British F-35Bs, while Italy is sponsoring it for the F-35As
F-35B

and with how the tech/mission capability is effectively linked between the A,B, and C models, if one nations F-35 can use it then the others theoretically can too

They have test fired it? I thought they have carried inert meteor so far

yes and no, its not so much the pylon as it is the connector for the electronics, however, it does mean any aircraft that can use the 9M can use the 9X, as there is footage of modern F-15s using AIM-9M as live fire training missiles instead of the 9Xs, and with how gaijin is just giving us a non-descript 9M across all years of aircraft, i think the 9L/9M/9X compatibility would be there as well, just as long as the aircraft was in service by the time the 9X hit the shelves

i remember coming across a image showing the firing, either way its functionality is being tested on US airframes

If there is direct evidence they are fully compatible with weaponary without requiring a modification, then yes its possible to suggest it for sure. But as far as been discovered so far, there was never any steps taken to arm them or upgrade them.

couldn’t find a direct source nor image but we are quite close to doing the airborne set of tests as it had passed the ground tests as of march 9th according to Lockheed themselves (i doesn’t give a name for the quote it just says Lockheed)

So to suggest a weaponry for a jet or heli we just need to prove it that it is fully compatible? I don’t have to prove that the operator country would be buying it or have any plans to use it?

I mean we are yet to see what this patch is about. Indonesian tanks, yes. ARMs maybe. But maybe also a whole array of new top tier MBTs. Has been a while since we had a proper MBT patch

Basically yes, at that point it’s then up to the developers to choose to add or not add based on things like BR and balance.

For example the JAS39E carrying Spice bombs or the JAS39C having the AGM-65G (IR-guided) instead of just the in-service RB-75T (TV-guided) in the game.
