Yep, they dont like the US and USSR not being meta
They see that US top tier air is struggling and want to buff them specifically (along with China). Buffing 120B/120C-5 doesn’t do that as it would be a blanket buff, for the US but also for the already powerful AESA EFTs (and a whole bunch of other planes), kind of negating the buff the US received.
So they add AIM-120D and give it specifically to the US so that they get a targeted buff. (just like why China is getting the PL-12A)
(don’t get me wrong, 120C-5s should still get a buff imo)
France, Britain, Italy and Germany having been the top tier air meta for over a year straight now:

So, seems air is not going to see as much in this update acording to the CM. More ground/naval focus after the Hungarian stuff.
Only one unique SPH, so it is between the Hummal and Palmaria.
IFVs, likely some of the CRVT models found and hopefully some for other nations.

as was to be expected with the addition of EFT and RFL
you can’t just add the uncontested best Gen 4++ planes to the game and expect them not to dominate everything

I acknowledge that the 120D will have the GNSS along with ARH+IOG+DL
GNSS… doesn’t really matter, right?
It only tells the x,y coordinates in space, but not with the information on the z-axis

And, sadly, not even the cool type (Rank VIII MBTs after 2+ years since their introduction, Battleships… light stuff and DDs instead). Although I have some hopes for something!

I mean their original idea to have only the F/A-18C get AIM-120C-5 to make up for it’s lacking flight performance was a decent way to keep other jets competitive, but sadly that got thrown out of the window (F-15E and EFT should never have gotten them that update).
Seems like they want to do the same thing again this time, hopefully they don’t cave to the pressure this time.
It all depends on what Gaijin believes it’s capabilities are. The most important thing for Gaijin is that they can change/buff the missile’s stats without the buff rippling to other planes that don’t need the buff.

if they want to make a Realistic Sunderland cockpit they’d need to physically visit the surviving ones and in coorperation with the museum take pictures themselves
Good point, I didn’t feel like going into the why of cockpits being expensive to contract to 3D artists but you’ve touched on a very important point.
A lot of the bombers featured in game have absolutely zero pictures of their cockpits online, and references are a must for 3D modelling.
And even if it gets it, I don’t think it would be higher than 4.7 - 5.0, it’s just a worse Nashorn with that ammo
150/88mm APHEDS and 150/128mm APHEDS would be funny shells that could easily push it’s BR above that of a Simple 150mm artillery piece with HE only
not to mention that it also has it’s own Full calibre HEAT and AP shells
