They clearly want to push the capabilities though, them adding the AIM-120D indicates that the US is not doing well at 14.3-14.7. So adding something like the F-16C PoBIT that is similarly strong as the current F-15C GE and F/A-18E won’t change anything.

Though that torpedo trail on the minimap is very cool already.
We are talking about a modification of the aircraft, and EX can be said to be a different aircraft.
Oh yeah I forgot the Meteor. I am sure there will be a bunch of nation mains asking for it on their AESA EFTs, because those planes suffer so much.
The Su-30SM2 exists so I do not see any reason why the F-15EX can’t be added. The F-16C PoBIT would not be competitive as it’s just the same F-16C but with a new radar and new missiles. The F-16C PoBIT would be yet another entry in the long list of top tier US aircraft Gaijin has been adding in an attempt to keep the US competitive and all of them have been mediocre so far. The AIM-120D won’t change the fact that the PoBIT only has 6 missiles and a rather mediocre flight model compared to the Eurofighter/Rafale etc.

The F-15EX is still a variant of the F-15E family.
in the same way that the F/A-18E is a Variant of the F/A-18

In theory it should have the same motor as the PL-15 but without dual pulse, so the second stage ignites immediately after the first one instead of being delayed. This actually makes it better at relevant engagement ranges in WT compared to the PL-15…

Gaijin clearly wants to help the US winrates at 14.3-14.7 and give them a true 14.7, adding what is at best a sidegrade to the F-15C GE and F/A-18E isn’t going to achieve that goal in any way.
(AIM-120Ds at best negate some of the weaknesses of the F-16C, but not enough to make it an upgrade over the 2 mentioned planes)
