No way to tell for sure, Gaijin doesn’t do every nation/military related holiday every year
Polish and USAF holidays would be the dates to wait for
You can look at @gszabi99 s wonderful spreadsheet to see the relevant holidays and their dates

@Smin1080p_WT I was just thinking since the Canadian Spitfire now has the correct operators flag, could it be possible for the Rhodesia Hunter to get it’s operators flag since War thunder does celebrate Zimbabwe Independence Day a few times with this aircraft ?
@Smin1080p_WT could you by chance forward this report?
Because German DM11 ammo is litarally using a Model for a Russian Round (3OF26)

It’s F-16 XS
Diet F-16
Diet? The F-16XL looks like it gobbled an entire Mirage, ain’t no way that’s diet.
Maybe the Mirage was made of salad Niçoise.
Mmmmm
Can’t wait for the CMD next week
Hopefully it brings the LAV-25, since technologically speaking, it should have come to the game 10 years ago. I would also take some wheelied boys for the US (RR jeeps or TOW HMMWV).
I would also like the LAV-25 so I can learn its damage model, and apply this knowledge to Arma Reforger.
Same, I wonder if the lower tier air suprise will get more of a hint. But then again this should be a big one since it’s the first one of the year
just look at LAV-AD
(I’m just trying to create reasons to see it in game, because apparently being a poster child of the USMC and possibly being the first wheeled IFV for the US TT isn’t enough)
lav was so peak in BF4
AAV and now ACV are the poster childs of the USMC imo
I got this neat little thing for the LAV series.
Stabilized, 60mph, APDS slinging, wheeled IFV is a big hell yeah for me. Would be the first wheeled IFV for US, meaning it would provide a unique play style not yet found in the US TT, and would bolster lineups in the middle ranks. I’m thinking BR 7.7-8.0? No thermals, missiles, or LRF, more on par with BTR-80A but it has stab.
Not too familiar with the ACV, the AAV is pretty popular but its use in war thunder would be pretty limited.
Well, 40mm HEAT / HE-DP(M430A1, with ~3 inch [75mm] of penetration), FAE(XM1060) & Flechette (M1001 HVCC) shells that are rated for the Mk. 19 do exist (very low velocity though, on order of 80 though 300m/sec depending on cartridge and loading (LV, MV & HV options are available)), at about ~ 380RPM so options exist beyond straight HE-F option would make it possibly useful against light armor, it’s better off than the M3’s M242 25mm with 200RPM APDS, with similar performance at Point Blank range.
But yes it absolutely would be practically relegated to a support role in a Infantry mode it’s not got absolutely no options like the Chaparral for example.
The ACV additionally uses the M153 CROWS RWS, so could potentially leverage CROWS-J developments in future, so there is some potential for organic Anti-Tank capability to be conferred from off the shelf systems.
We already have 40mm HEATGR (51 mm pen) for the grenade launcher armed helicopters and they are pretty good against light tanks, so an AAV with a Mk. 19 grenade launcher using those M430 grenades would work at at an appropriate BR
The autocannons around 7.7 have very similar penetration values (if that 75mm number is correct)
Source linked is primary and quotes 3 inches, which is 76.2mm
