Maybe if Gaijin didn’t artificially nerf the AMRAAM’s pull off the rail they’d be competitive. But as of now that’s simply not the case.
The EFT AESA simply outclasses both the F/A-18E and F-15C GE. It’s no contest. Radar gimbal limit, flight performance, onboard systems, HMD if you play ASB…
The Rafale is, well, a Rafale. One of the most handholdy planes in the game with one of (if not the absolute) best Fox-3s in the game.
And the Su-30SM2 has a goofy not-so-historical avionics suite with its engines and radar. R-77-1s are simply better than AMRAAMs at most ranges (99% of the times you’d actually wanna fire a missile), and the SM2 has the radar gimbal to back that up.
