I was just gonna let this die because I thought what’s the point but there is context to my back a forth with Smin that I could not in add at the time.
Yes I knew this from the very start because I read over that CM post regarding 5th Gen at the time it was put up! I was at work at the time of posting with Smin, I could not add the context of, going off the 2026 Guess list of F22, J20, Su57 FIRST all at the same time thinking that this would be for balance much the same as Next Gen IR missiles showing up at the same time would be fair.
But Now based off Oxy’s comments and now knowing he knows things to a greater degree then I was aware of…seem like no F22 first.
Also me saying NO 5th Gen in 2026 was assuming because the F22 was a good match up for the other two nations 5th Gen aircraft 5th Gen would be pushed back to 2027 probably.
Yes I know the F35 is in the 2026 guess but it says they would be added later, how much latter??? also the F35 is the most Stealth…sure it won’t out dog fight the others, but are we to assume the MOST Stealth aircraft will be added FIRST vs other nations, Dang!
Meteor would probably be equivalent in kinematics to a Fakour90. So I don’t see why meteor can’t be added alongside Aim120D when Fakour90 is existing right now
If you think the Fakour-90 is similar to the Meteor you lot might be more lost then previously thought to be possible.
The Meteor completely lacks the acceleration the Fakour is known for. It will have almost infinite energy and 2x better pull. These aren’t minor upgrades. The Fakour-90 has the worst seeker or all ARHs. It’s big and has a 3x bigger blast radius comparatively. It’s launched from one of the worst platforms you can have in toptier, compared to the absolute best on the EFT.
They are not comparable and this cope that they can be compared because they’re both BVR weapons is ridiculous.
