And what happens if Meteor is added, will they ask for AIM-260?

Would be interesting to see that come on super Hornet further weighing its airframe down and can only carry 4. People will do calculations in their head knowing that won’t be enough

Yeah… Its does get a bit complicated, and I think its a good way of ensuring that F-35B is balanced vs F-35As and Cs, but I think US mains will expect Meteor on the A, B and C and only on theirs
The only thing that saves the F-18E in ARB from being useless is its loadout. It doesn’t have speed. It doesn’t have maneuverability. It doesn’t have a load of countermeasures.

Im interested in how they’ll model a few things like the all-aspect IRST or the cockpit (specifcally the AR HMD) , but overall, not something I would actually play often, like the Harrier, Id probably spend half my time just messing around with VTOL landing on Carriers.
Yeah. The VTOL on the F-35B should be interesting if done right.
It’ll probably be the exact same as we see on the Harrier, but I do wonder if they’ll need to bodge it like the Harrier.
iirc, the Harriers actually have a little too much thrust in the hover because when they set it to IRL figures, it cant actually VTOL :D

I don’t know where you’re getting that. The aircraft hasn’t been delivered or tested in any capacity, the IAF has not received this aircraft and the tree sadly cannot get it ingame yet because of this.
From what I have heard they have a test aircraft but no deliveries. I did revise my statement. As I stated later on deliveries are expected around 2035.
