Next Major Update - Rumor Round-Up & Discussion (Part 2)

Ugh… I would really like a old school leak list right about now.

I think the WM-23 is more likely than you give it credit for, they did say there will be “more interesting domestic Hungarian aircraft to look out for very soon”, and with the RMI series denied, the WM-23 is realistically the only substantially “more interesting” aircraft than the Héja II, and it certainly fits the “more domestic Hungarian aircraft” part of it as well. Your main issue with the WM-23 seems to be the fact the prototype didn’t have the guns mounted, but that’s not actually a problem, because as Deathmisser points out, it’s in the same exact situation as the Fokker D.XXIII (also notice how that’s also a D.23 like the WM-23, also made by a minor nation, very similar situation, and the Hungarians designed the RMI-8 in the same configuration as the D.XXIII).

Planes like the Fokker D.XXIII, XP-50, Kikka, J7W1, Yak 141, XF5U and maybe the Swift F7, SO8000 Narval, VL Pyörremyrsky, and many other prototype aircraft that didn’t receive their guns in real life made their way into WT nonetheless, as both premiums and researchables, so this isn’t/has never been an obstacle, all that matters is the aircraft being complete and preferably having flown. The poor photos shouldn’t be a problem either, since we also have blueprints and drawings to back them up with, and we know how the WM-23 looked well enough to model it accurately in WT, so again, this shouldn’t be an issue. I see no reason why the WM-23 can’t be added, and so am hoping for it to come this update.

My reaction to this leaklist will drop at 12am est Feb 26th 2026

Here are my current top tier jet productions.

F-15 EX to U.S TT

F-15 IA to Israel TT Edit: won’t be delivered until 2035 so scratch this prediction.

The Israeli TT could get a Greek Rafale due to the sub-tree announcement.

More likely the next Rafale would be in the Japan TT due to the sub-tree Indonesia.

Don’t get me wrong, I would be happy to see it in the game, just lower my expectations not to be disappointed eventually.
Though maybe considering we already have aircraft which haven’t received armament irl, chances to see it aren’t that low really.
PS where does it say “domestic”?

So about 20 hours ago the leaklist will drop? ;)

Could it be that it’s forgotten only because it hasn’t been delivered to the Israeli air force yet?

fixed it

The first units are in hand. (Upgraded units)
Israel didn’t just double their order without any feedback from the IAF.

Edit:This was based on incorrect information.
I am not editing it out entirely.

It’s just hard to get excited about them when the
F-35I Adir exists.

I cant wait for US mains trying to justify why they need Aim-9X BLK2 and Aim-120D3 on their F-22s to compete with Typhoons with 9M and Aim-120C5s and why giving the Typhoon ASRAAM/IRIS-T and Meteors would be unfair

Source?

Its israel. what dont they have at this point?

both the 77-1 and 120 D were upgrades to older missiles, the meteor was brand new with a cutting edge propulsion system, it being put in service in the same time frame doesn’t mean its equal in performance

4th gen with AESA I suppose.

It was a translated source from the original herbrew. It is sitting on the clearnet. It’s just not in English. I’ll try and locate it again.
