It’s likely the PoBit and the F-15CGE getting the AIM-120D, but I’m hopeful for the F-15EX with GBU-53s
If they add the F-16XL as a TT vehicle it’d be seriously the most disappointing US addition since basically the day one Golden Eagle, and that’s quite a low bar to achieve.
it’ll be a event vehicle. If they dare to use it as TT, I’m seriously giving up on the US air tech tree until basically the F-22A.

Anything Israel currently uses that’s AMRAAM equipped technically speaking, although if I’m not mistaken the Aim-120C-8 is its latest AMRAAM, but I might be mistaken. The Baz Meshupars (F-15As and F-15Cs, only F-15C Meshupar ingame rn), the F-15I Ra’am, and F-16I Sufa as well are candidates for it.
Oh and the F-16C/D Baraks I/II never used AMRAAMs IRL, gaijin made that up. They weren’t integrated, I’m guessing they added them on some assumed compatibility basis. They got it right with the F-16D, no clue why the F-16C Barak II Block 40 got Aim-120s.

Yeah, just what I was wondering about is if they’re good candidates to receive AIM-120D or even C-8 since they’re non-aesa fighters and having them equipped with better missiles might put it out of place, compared to aim-120d currently being put on aesa fighters so far

It may be either a dreams come true or a mid year event vehicle, it fits both.
Being a TT addition is like adding the Su-47 to the Russian TT.

They’re the same thing, the difference is what missile is used. Officially I’ve only seen them referred to as MRs source wise, but I’ve seen some reporting on them as LRs and stuff, nothin official. What would be needed in that case is details on them using the I-Derby ER, then it can be safely assumed. (I also happen to be the biggest supporter of this exact SPYDER system being added, given it’s the same chassis as the AiO. Please gaijin)

The F-16XL was never seriously considered for production, unlike the Yak-141.
It was only a delta testbed considered for strike capabilities.
The F-16XL was very thoroughly weighed as an option against the F-15E…
(literally uses the Better SPYDER AiO chassis aswell, Please gaijin please)
