Hi Smin! Can we expect anything else today? Thanks.
I do gotta wonder if they are adding F-15EX will they give it a MAW under the whole “its technically possible” excuse.
16 without amber? I thought it only carried 12 without amber rack
He can’t say it.
It does have maw
they could make an exception because its better choice then pobits
maybe i misunderstood from a while back but the harrier could pull in the air from its own downward exhaust no? the f35 second engine with top intake didn’t have this issue.
I’m simply gonna take your word on it because I will be the first to admit I have never doven deep into the harrier its why I was curios.
It would depend more on missile however it would still be missing gimbled radar
Look at the F-15C GE (12 missiles). Now add 2 missiles under each wing because of the additional pylons. You get 16. Now replace all the belly armament by 5 ambers with 2 amraams each. You get 22.
F-15EX can be equipped with MAWS but USAF did not install MAWS in their F-15EX
That’s not what he said at all!
I thought it was Raytheon radar no??
Correction, he said “as of now maybe, but you’ll have to stay tuned”
That’s Hot gas reingestion and F-35B can suffer from the same thing. That’s why they hover at like 30 feet and come down fast when going pure vertical, otherwise they do a rolling vertical landing.
The VSTOL performance is vastly different, a Sea Harrier for example can launch from a small invincible class carrier at near its maximum allowable weight in just about any weather conditions.
F-35B can not even take off normally from the carrier near its max allowable weight.
Yes he did, someone asked if others were getting it and he answered something along the lines of “ the aim120d is being added to buff the American tree which the eurofighters don’t need at the moment”
exceptions are always dumb however I am kinda stuck on this. we have the yak141 one which was created test flown and had radar created and it never went into service but its present for Russia. and the f16e did all the same and also never went into service for the US. I honestly cant figure out if im against it or not.
The Harriers were just too goated, even Lockheed Martin couldn’t do something close
Yes it does however AN/APG-82 cannot physically move
They were a maintenance nightmare and over heated easily……
What did he said them I can’t find what he replied to me.
