The MiG-23 has a much worse RWR, way fewer CMs, worse guns with a lot less ammunition and its only all aspect IR missiles are way easier to defeat than Magic IIs
Even the R-24Rs are easier to defeat than properly used Magic IIs
The flight model is hard to compare, as they focus on different aspects, but I personally prefer the F1s flight model in most situations

I tried made it to 5.0 us in the 3ish bluewater lines then got forced stock he rounds and wanted to die.

It’s just the management, sure mog 23 is better but you have to constantly switch beteeen manual and automatic for the wing sweep and it’s just annoying.
Mirage f1c is jsut more enjoyable

The R530F are the second worst missile at the BR, only followed by the R530E.
The F variant can be flared while flying straight by dropping 1 or 2 chaffs, while any other missile at the BR is CW. They only work on clueless people, that can’t read or listen to their RWR. The R530E is a 10.3 missile at 12.0, also borderline useless.
I could have your same arguments for the MiG 23 MLD at 11.7. It has 2 of the best, if not the best fox 2 missiles at its BR, plus 4 R60M that are more than workable on clueless people (and has the advantage of not pinging RWR).

okay missile thing i get but the f22 is much quicker than the f15c in the aspects that matter
( i dont know about topspeed since I dont know its max or if its restricted for coating health)
Yeah, to get the most out of the MiG-23s flight model you gotta make use of manual wing sweep

Ngl, there was a brief glimmer of hope for the Mikoyan-Gurevich jets with the MiG-25PD. I sure hope the MiG-35 materialises someday (even though the Flanker(s) do what it does… better and in higher quantity lol).

It’s restricted around Mach 2.2-2.3. Acceleration wise it’s faster than the F-15E (and obviously, F-15EX)
