Man the mirage F1 only needs a better engine to actually become a decent fighter.
Nowadays I don’t think the Magic 2s justify its BR anymore. The 530F are useless and the recent compression of some F16 going to 12.3, and the F15 to 12.7 has ruined an already bloated BR range
you know the F4S? while the KWS LV is undoubtedly a lot better than it it’s also a lot higher fighting, Su-30MKKs F/A-18s and F-15s (which are btw. at a lower BR)
the Mech scan EFT while it’s not completely OP like Rafale is is still absolutely Fine to play, yes it’s got a Mediocre Radar, yes it’s only got Butchered AMRAAMs, yes it doesn’t have relevant TVC IR missiles but it’s got the only Airframe that can be compared to the Rafale and the other stuff is still as good as most of the competition
C’est impossible. France (or rather, MBDA) never bothered with integrating M2K’s with Meteor, cause spicy Rafale is better
I predict, after having looked at it’s Speed diagram, that METEOR will infact perform worse than AMRAAM in Warrhunder

The over-all package of the Mirage F1C does deserve 12.0 imo
I love the plane just the way it is, but a F1A for a lower BR would be cool to see
all honesty after getting used to the airframe, it was one of the easiest techtree speed run grinds. to be fair fox1 irccm do be doing that

Regarding this blog, there’s something that caught my attention; the new Dev Blog model display background! Pitch black with reflecting/shiny floor.
I believe I like it more than the previous iterations (grey matte).
I wonder if it will always be like this from now on, or is it a special case?

I’ve spent a whole lot of hours with the F1 recently to help a friend grind the rafale M (we grinded from around 4.0 to the rafale exclusively playing the mirage), and I personal’y don’t agree. I’d say it’s closer in performance to the mig23 that sits at 11.7. It’s worse in most metrics compared to the mig23 and is only carried by two magic 2s. On the other hand, I think the r24r is just as good as the magic 2, just in completely different manners. Especially since many planes don’t even have RWR warning for the R24R since the mig radar is J band
The only mirage F1 I would keep at 12.0 is the CT since at least this one has a decent RWR
the steak sauce minimises rcs gaijin is modeling that mechanic as we speak
RCS has been a Mechanic in this game since Radars were first added

Not mentioned about the 2 guaranteed kills? If you know it enough this plane can do more than u think and it’s deserved 12.0 the 530F has it’s workable way not a terrible missile as well as 530E it’s sum up to 5 missile!

As I said, in my opinion, the R24R are just as good as the magic 2, ie, that at their BR they are basically 2 guaranteed kills just as the magic 2 are (on a subpar airframe that is). Could also say the same for the r73 carrier at lower BR. Or the PL5E2
plus if you work the mti right 1 pretty consistent kills with the fox 2’s

Meteor doesn’t slow down, at least in WT it won’t. In real life past ~250 km it’ll run out of fuel and just glide like a normal missile. That’s why devs are hesitant to add it now even though the conditions are met for its addition (Airframes that carry it, mostly).
