I would guess after the F-15E as the F-15EX was developed from the E with its structural and avionic enhancements.
After the F-15C GE would be most likely the F-22.
The thing is that none of that actually fixes, or improves on what is subpar, or embellishes the strengths of the AMRAAM in comparison to its contemporary missiles. so it’s approaching the point where shifting the deck chairs around on the Titanic would have been a more useful expenditure of effort.
Not unlike adding M829A3 or -A4 without their ERA bypass mechanic.
The problem is that Gaijin hasn’t considered that the CoG change of the “+5” motor & control section to maintain the overall length of the missile has on post motor burnout, at very least restores the lift lost to the clipped wings. Due to having a larger mechanical advantage and thus easier time rotating the missile due to the reduced stability caused by shifting the Centre of mass closer to the center of lift.
But that’s reserved for the B-1R / B-2 / B-21.

Well they could add 2040C golden eagle in 15C line before F22. However that is very unlikely
The 2040C isn’t even produced because the existing airframes of the F-15C, which would have been upgraded, are simply too old AFAIK. The suggested upgrades were instead mostly built into newly produced F-15EX.

The issue with the hypothetical polls that have been spammed as of late is something along the lines if X is on dev sever we should get Y ect.
As I stated the other day where people where going off topic and arguing with each other because they didn’t like the results of the polls etc
