There’s quite a few vehicles that have access to some weaponry of related vehicles because “trust me bro” so it’s quite stupid to go as far as questioning the compatibility of Rhino F’s weaponry with the Rhino E

There is an open issue report regarding the F/A-18E missing GBU 53s btw, that report includes proper sources tho
Of course, I’m just annoyed that they use this kind of arguments when at the same time they slap weapons on airframes whenever they feel like it. Once again double standards

I think it’s possible the mod somehow mistakes the F/A-18F for the EA-18G, which does have different systems and weapon integration
Yeah, it’s really easy to find a picture of an E carrying them (it has a pretty similar angle and lighting lol). But still, no one questioned the F/A-18D

It’s just silly to act like a picture of one vehicle variant to be proper proof for another variants capabilities
I mean sure… But even just on a matter of development costs it’s really pointless to make the E and F have different weapon systems

A picture of a F/A-18F isn’t evidence to proof the E variants’ capabilities unless you also have sources proving that both variants are capable of carrying those bombs.
The report literally just included that picture and two pages from TWZ (which I’m 99.9 percent sure aren’t a reliable sources) as proof/sources

Except don’t the Flankers have twin belly pylons even though they were only for the Su-35 (one of the late Flankers I can’t remember it exactly off the top of my head)?
I get that it should be compatible with the other Flankers but there is no difference in armament capability between the F/A-18E and F so why deny one report whilst letting an even worse one slide?
I can’t access the Raytheon links, so I don’t know what information they contain, but it seems that they include enough evidence
Otherwise I’m sure the report would have been closed as well

Iirc the report moderators are pretty sketchy at times lol
There are loads of reports that just sit around seemingly without being acknowledged by moderators and in other cases certain moderators have been proven to be very biased
I can’t see any bias in the case of the closed F/A-18E report, especially since the GBU 53 isn’t even in the game yet and the fact that another report regarding that same topic is still open (actually two reports, but the second one is just a translation to Russian)
F/A-18E equipped with GBU-53/B, same as F/A-18F carriage
E and F hornets are the same in terms of combat systems and weapon delivery. F just has a back seat for coordinating more complex combat scenarios.
