praying we get a devblog about improved anticheat, sick and tired of lvl10s and 20s with blatant KDs in the 100s, let alone naval bots with sometimes in the thousands

What for? If they consistently make new US missiles bad what you gotta do is ask for fixes not a newer missile that will probably be terrible too…

forcing it to come early could leave it nerfed, and then they never come around to unnerfing it when stuff like R-77M, PL-15, Meteor, and MICA NG come along
Yeah that’s true but the community’s been asking for fixes for two years. I kinda want missile progression to happen and for more missiles to be introduced for all nations.

Last time missile progression happened for USA it was the C5 and it turned out to be a downgrade in most aspects…

Not necessarily, having it come and then having next-gen IR missiles added soon after leaves the US with more leverage to request fixes, since I don’t imagine the aim-9X to be competing as well with its adversaries like how the aim-9m has done, leaving radar missile fixes as one of the only avenue to compete.
I hope they give it to the US F/A-18E as well.
i dont think a 9X block 2 is going to be as bad as some people say, if its like the current SLAMRAAM one compared to other ground launched IIR

Because, the Loadout is Unused since the start of the German Mi-24P, aka. should be a pretty eazy fix

But it did have its use to the point that people do bring it early game, but yes aim-120a was better in most aspects.
Problem is like I mentioned earlier, Gaijin remains deaf to requests for amraam fixes. Gaijin’s unwillingness to fix aim-120s for whatever reasons or motivations, shouldn’t stagnate the game. I’m already itching for everyone to have the best of the best missiles. I was already hoping that this patch would bring about next-gen IR missiles. I’d rather have the amraam fixes but if it ain’t coming, then let’s rip off the band-aid and get it over with by adding the aim-120d3 so everyone (including the US) can all progress.

From what i’ve read, the c-8 is a refurbished c-7 with all of the upgrades of the base aim120d.
Edit: nevermind. its a C-7 with refurbished parts. they’re not the same ones being used on aim120d.
