I imagine there are plans for that, as the I-Derby-ER and the PL-15 also use that system, but that’s probably not gonna happen until the next gen missiles get added

well maybe you could slave TGP to IRST and get the targeting information that way
Germany actively uses the C-8 (export aim120D) on their Eurofighter Fleet, as an intermediate range missile to Meteor/IRIS-T
and is planning to procure aim120 D-3
