Next Major Update - Rumor Round-Up & Discussion (Part 2)

This is where my lack of knowledge is, at the time did these other nations not have a 4th gen themselves? In the devblog, it states its a stopgap for the F-2 since thats the only service Japanese aircraft that could be added and it was far too advanced.

I’m pretty sure the DVHA1 is a separate vehicle. I was reading maybe it was the M1304? I’m now curious if it will get its airburst munitions though, none of the other 30mm that use the same ammunition have it, I’m hoping since it’s a new vehicle they will get it right. I also hope that they get the engine noise right, instead of copy pasting from some other IFV.

You can hear it accelerating at 0:35, it sounds a lot like the Bkan in game.

Funny thing I found too, the XM813 (and the Mk44 Bushmaster) can fire the ammunition found on the A-10’s 30mm.

Or on paper, Gaijin decided to remove all modifications needed to match the minimum requirements of the competition aside from half the Sparrow load based on the ADF that didn’t exist at the time, remove guided bombs and gave it an engine that also didn’t exist at the time because they believed this is more accurate than the actual proposal.

Okay so Sweden and Britain were left from Apex predators in December until Air superiority in December the next year, where Sweden had the 12.0 JA37D vs 12.0 Mig 29 and F16. 2 sky flash and 4x 9L in a third gen vs 4x 7M and 2x 9L of the F16 with a better radar.

Britain had the Tonka with Supertemp missiles but it’s a Tonka.

Sweden planned to get an F16 there documents discussing the label of JAS39 for the F16 yet they didn’t get it.

Again why should Japan get special treatment. Hell Sweden could’ve gotten the Hali air trial Mig 29 but didn’t. Again of the nations that didn’t have an owned F16/Mig 29 Japan got the best F16 for an entire year.

Oh yeah they made a vehicle that doesn’t resemble what it was supposed to be.

They did the exact thing for old German top tier and in naval it’s not even special anymore to see incomplete ships be made whatever Gaijin wants to have in game instead of accurate.

The only reason the F-16AJ sticks out is because there was alternatives like a Thai/Indonesian F-16 or just an early F-2. And even that can be explained by a genuine mistake because they mistook the YF-16 Sparrow testbed for an F-16J prototype.

Also maybe because it’s the only case they did this for air, others are ground/naval mainly while air otherwise always had at least partially built vehicles

Tbf naval operates under different rules than other game modes so seeing a completely fictional aircraft is more of a stretch than a boat.

Also the thing is gaijin never thinks that far in the future otherwise gaijin could’ve fixed Sweden and potentially Britains lack of a 4th gen during that time. Again the best thing to do would have been to leave them without a jet or from that point on give every nation equal fictional treatment to prevent them from missing out on vital BR vehicles.

Yeah, naval is more of an example for taking a real design and taking creative liberties that I don’t think should be taken, like the AJ. I can’t actually think of any entirely paper ships though.

But aside from that they did say they are more relaxed with unfinished vehicles there, I just wish they made them more accurate.

Rah more hornets let’s go. Now where MLU 1 or are no more hornets planned for the Vodka drinking sauna enjoyers?

Let’s goooo

Yeah that’s what I expecred too. Britain eventually got the SA Gripen, so they could’ve just done the same here for a Thai F-16A (same thing for Sweden with maxbe a Norwegian one). Or just the F-2, but they just hyped up AESA too much before even starting to work on it.

Kronshdont or whatever it’s called having better armor than the USSR was capable of making do to poor steel quality lol or the guns and their accuracy

That would probably be the Soyuz you are talking about

Tbf the Gripens were done terribly. The Gripen A in its 1994, standard could’ve been a solid addition the update before they were added.

No HMD, no IRCCM missiles, no BOL.

Then the Gripen C could be added to both and gaijin could’ve made adjustments to the FM before releasing gods most drunk pilot lmao
