Yeah the CDK tools are beyond usable at this point. The Asset Viewer takes ages to load and runs like it’s stop motion and crashes every 2 minutes while the Mission Editor is missing half the assets, crashes when trying to actually view/place any assets, can only load a handful of maps without crashing, missing water on all maps, AI no longer following commands etc etc.
It’s a shame that they give us these tools and let them rot away like this.
The thing is, I dont have a Issue with the Loading speed, but the fact that it chrashes itself without doing anything is just nuts…
I’m more of the ground/heli man, might do air if I start running out of vehicles for these

Yeah it’s the same with the mission editor. Constant error codes and crashes, that is if it actually runs first of all.
Hell even a fresh install doesn’t work. If you play on Steam it simply won’t install to the game directory because the installer can’t read a file path that’s too long. (I think its limit is actually 4 folders) You have to pull the game folder to the root of the drive and then install the CDK before putting the game folder back into the Steam directory.
I think they need to just redo the CDK entirely. Maybe even incorporate it into the game itself.

If this really ends up being another SPH/SPG focussed update, they better add the Alecto II and/or the Bishop as well
