Well, only primary source I seen that stated improved HOBS was an AIM-120D presentation that was recently posted on forums.
Gaijin implemented this in the form of removing seeker gimbal limit limitations which you can see is modeled in the files.

PoBIT will probably be 14.3 anyway since it has such a low missile count with the AIM-120Ds available

In my opinion, increase maximum battle rating to 15.0 (Air battle)
Hopefully not forget another active radar homing medium-range Air-to-Air Missile from domestic USAF, USN, IAF, JASDF and nato allies

I doubt it, rank IX is hardly a rework. It’s just continuing what the game has always done.
Also iirc at the time rank IX was already pretty much confirmed, since last update they said that the rank VIII lines with four vehicles would see one of them moved up a rank once it comes. So it’s be a really weird choice to only call it a “possibility”

But it was more than just Rank IX, they also foldered a load of stuff and moved things between ranks.

A rework of the trees would be nice, even more so if it involves sub-trees, tho I wouldn’t mind if it was the era split, just not care as much. Wasn’t there a sub-tree rework on one of the 2026 guess lists?

Which is also nothing new, it didn’t change anything about research trees, just reorganized a few vehicles into folders like we see every other update anyways. I’m still holding out hope that there has to be something more in order to motivate anyone to put it as a point on the 2026 guess list

I would think so, but sadly this devblog did not solve my Hummel hungryness, and If I had to guess the same thing could be said about you.
Either F-16C PoBIT, F-15EX, or F/A-18E/F Block III.
Best odds are for the F-16C PoBIT since we only just got the F/A-18E Block II last update and the F-15C GE the update before that.
