Yeah, the re-arrangement pretty much just sorted the vehicles so each column hosts a specific class of vehicle
There also was that announcement of them planning to add more MBTs from Commonwealth nations to Britain, which hasn’t happened yet (the one opportunity they had was the 2A4M CAN and that one went to Germany, as most people expected lol)
This is very easy to entertain because we know the 120D has a stronger and harder to defend seeker then the C5…“which will provide the USA with a needed boost over the current AIM-120C-5” - Gaijin
Is it Impossible that this is one of the things the 120D will be better at???
The MICA is the king of HOBS and hard to notch…at some point there will be missiles that challenge the current Meta, is it 100% out of the realm of possibility a more BVR focused missile could become the Meta for a while???
Tbf not every update can focus on one nation getting massive overhauls. Takes time besides again Britain being the only one to get it when imo there were far more nations needing a redo of their tree, it kinda makes it more obvious they have plans to add a lot more and are making more room for future additions.
You’ll be lucky if the D has slightly more speed than the C-5 and doesn’t just get gutted for fun

BVR isn’t meta and notching shots from +20km away is trivial. So not sure what the 120D will change, especially when rafale and co get their next gen missiles that will immediately thrash the 120s in every metric. The fundamental issue here is down to the airfram, the f15 is an old boat, the EFT and co are much more modern and simply better, that’s just how it is.
Shooting missiles at people from BVR at 20+km and assisting them with a TWS track to cook people is not meta??? UUUUuuummmm guess I’m doing it wrong in my C GE/SM2/Raf!

For sure, other nations (especially Sweden, Italy and France) should get similar re-arrangements
Now, this is just my guess, but they probably prioritized Britain because the Ajax wouldn’t have fit into the themes of any of the columns (first column was mediums, second was export vehicles, third was TDs and British ATGM launchers, fourth was SPAA and fifth column was South Africa)
Basically, Britain had no dedicated light vehicle column
Placement of Indias vehicles also would have been awkward, but, well, Gaijin still hasn’t added any of Indias non-SPAA to the TT lol
Sweden and Italy are probably the next nations to receive a overhauls, as their trees are at some point going to run into the same problem as the pre-rearrangement Britain tree
Other nations are unlikely to run into that issue, as their trees don’t have dedicated subtree columns
Edit: forgot about Japan, they will also need a TT re-arrangement

I would gladly see Romania and even Chechslovakia in the same Minor axis tree. But the thing is the post war soviet epuipment are hardly in line with the italian tree, which is a problem. But I don’t want to see WW2 era Chech designs in the soviet tree either. Splitting the WW2 and postwar trees would be a solution, but we are not trusting the devs with that, as bluewater and coastal exist.
Note: Gaijin if you are currently reworking trees, that’s fine I guess, but please please do NOT increase the grind 🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺🥺

Only thing Sweden needs is a rearrangement of 1.0-10.0 ground and the entire air tree needs more space there’s no room for anything (not that they’ll add anything anyways)
From what information has been floating since the disclosure I would temper your expectations of the 120D. As of right now expect a 120C with more burn time.

The devblog for the F/A-18F doesn’t mention GBU-53s either
They do list all the other GBUs that the F/A-18E has tho

Czechoslovakia will probably appear at some point, but definitely not as Soviet subtree, maybe as a part of some Eastern European TT. Actually I don’t think USSR needs any subtree with all the stuff it could get from its republics.
As for Soviet tech in the Italian TT, well, it’s already happened.

both should get them anyways, the bug report manager is in the wrong since the only functional difference is reduced fuel (to fit the extra seat) and higher empty weight

F/A-18F != F/A-18E is a bad reason
5th column isn’t happening they already shoved Norway into the strike fighter line. Sweden will probably be the only nation without a 5th air line going into the future. Israel should get one with greece but I’m not super certain on that one so I’ll just leave it at maybe 50 50 it joins sweden
