You want a example how about AIM120 C-5 going to the EFT when it was already the strongest AIM120 slinger when C-5 was released. It was primarily the brits crying about it when the point of the missile was to give the worst performing aircraft a way to try and catch up to the EFT in performance and so far we’ve seen you guys do it all over again with the EFT needing AIM120D despite yet again being the best AIM120 slinger at 14.7

I don’t think they’ve ever put something as definitive as that as a part of a proper devblog, but staff responses regarding AU and CAN have consistently referred to both of them as nations whose vehicles can just go wherever Gaijin wants (which is the opposit of what a subtree is lol)

They could be making room just for India, but the useing the Commonwealth name is out of place, but also has historic precedent, as last time Gaijin said it was getting support from the Commonwealth that ended up being the Bison and an Indian sub-tree being confirmed. But unlike when there was room for a new line of tech, I doubt there will be a giant tech dump like with new sub-trees, not without a (sub)tree rework.
