Next Major Update - Rumor Round-Up & Discussion (Part 2)

But it did have its use to the point that people do bring it early game, but yes aim-120a was better in most aspects.

Problem is like I mentioned earlier, Gaijin remains deaf to requests for amraam fixes. Gaijin’s unwillingness to fix aim-120s for whatever reasons or motivations, shouldn’t stagnate the game. I’m already itching for everyone to have the best of the best missiles. I was already hoping that this patch would bring about next-gen IR missiles. I’d rather have the amraam fixes but if it ain’t coming, then let’s rip off the band-aid and get it over with by adding the aim-120d3 so everyone (including the US) can all progress.

From what i’ve read, the c-8 is a refurbished c-7 with all of the upgrades of the base aim120d.
Edit: nevermind. its a C-7 with refurbished parts. they’re not the same ones being used on aim120d.

I guess that makes sense. What I really want is more focus on lower tiers rather than putting 80-90% of the work into top tier, but I know that won’t happen so whatever

They should make it jettisonable, I want to yeet millions of dollars worth of military equipment and watch it fly and crash.

Probably jettisonable but irl they wouldn’t do it unless it’s an emergency. But isn’t all ordinance jettisonable irl in case of emergency?

Yeah sadly, I hate how this game is hype-driven like that, really ruins it for all those who enjoy lower tiers

just shoot an AIM-120C at close range

yippie RWRs are entirely broken again, thank you gaijin! hope you go bankrupt

Too many factors tbh, of how the missile will perform in-game because there’s some things that go on behind the scene.

Technical moderators can internally submit reports for certain missiles ahead of time and give developers all the information they need to properly model missiles, so whether or not that happened could affect how the missile performs in-game.

Fair enough

Sadly it was never tested on modern Merkavas afaik, just the Mk.1/2s And Mk.3s, never the Mk.4s, meaning it can’t get them as it requires adaptation/integration.

oh, thats unfortunate

The cope for FV101 never dies, but does get more painful

Hoping for marder 2 devblog 🤞

All Merkava Mk 3s and 4s should be capable of firing LAHAT missiles, as they got the laser designator (which is part of their LRF module) and a compatible gun

The CV90105 is a similar case, as that one got the Falarick 105 missile

hoping its the 50mm version aswell, as thats the more unique variant of the marder 2
