As far as I know, only longer range and harder to chaff, but same G-overload, so it will still be a bus?
I think they will want to close the F-16 branch before the F-35A appears. Moreover, the right branch has not received anything for a long time.
Very much doubt we will get the EX this soon. More likely the F-16C PoBIT since that wouldn’t push capabilities too far for a minor update.
They are using AIM-120D as a balancing tool.
The AESA EFTs, Rafale and Su-30SM2 are comically superior to anything the US currently has in game, so that is why Gaijin only seems to be planning to add them to the US tree. Same reason why China is getting the PL-12A.
Not that the British/German mains won’t whine to try and get the AIM-120Ds as well.

I just remembered now, why does it have to be F-15EX? When there is an F-15E(RMP)!
They clearly want to push the capabilities though, them adding the AIM-120D indicates that the US is not doing well at 14.3-14.7. So adding something like the F-16C PoBIT that is similarly strong as the current F-15C GE and F/A-18E won’t change anything.
