Next Major Update - Rumor Round-Up & Discussion (Part 2)

It was “one and not the other”, when they said Cyprus and Greece were the reason more popular Chile and Singapore were denied as Israel subtrees.

At least Chile still has hope for a LATAM tree, that’s a very popular suggestion even if a large part of the votes are botted.

I thought Singapore was meant to become a Chinese subtree at first

Almost all Canadian’s share similar sentiments (I know as I’m also Canadian, so I joined stuff like the WT Canada discord server) I’ve met vary few who don’t want a home.

Tho I’d prefer for issues with sub-trees to be fixed first. So I currently support the CAN-ANZAC tree project, and other independent tree projects for them.

There is still a hope for regular non-afterburning variants of this plane: IAR-93A and IAR-93MB. Same with Turan II and Toldi 2a, variations of these tanks can be added into the regular tree like Turan Ii early (without sideskirts) and Toldi III or 2AK.
For another BP reward - Breda 90/53, we could have a regular Lancia 3Ro with the same 90/53 system.

Btw there is also IAR-316B premium helicopter in the French TT, idk why we don’t have it reintroduced in the Italian TT as all the other Romanian tech.

True, but it is a shame that the only afterburning variant got used as the event vehicle instead of one of the non-afterburning ones

Not sure. Did they officially call Romania a subtree yet?
If not, that’s why.
If they did, they probably just didn’t bother to add that one to the Italian heli tree yet lol

Not exactly “subtree”, but “home” for Romanian vehicles. And all answers about Romania only come from Smin on forum and Italian discord.

Maybe they are saving that heli for when they want to officially call Romania a subtree then, together with some other Romanian built vehicles, like the IAR 330, IAR 80, MiG-21 LanceR and TR-85

Maybe, Romania has quite a lot of potential in basically every area, they even have a few submarines)

I’m not talking about events, I’m talking about tech tree content. I don’t usually care for events because temporary content. Besides there’s not a whole lot left for them to fill top tier Russia for the expanded rank 9 anyways outside of 5th gen which we already know is coming later this year. There’s the Su-35 and MiG-35 but the Su-30SM2 basically is a better Su-35 anyways, but the MiG-35 is a 4++ gen which at least exceeds and builds on capabilities of the older Fulcrum. After that it’s basically just the Su-57 and GG, the whole Russian tech-tree is pretty much a done deal.

It was.

But people asked for Singapore to be an Israeli subtree, but Gaijin denied this saying that Greece and Cyprus would be that instead so Singapore couldn’t. That’s why Singapore is instead being split.

Personally I’d say there’s easily “enough space” in the sense that even with Singapore in addition to the others the potential future content would be in line with other nations, but I also get them being hesitant considering how much of an issue techtree space is in general in game.
Even if they are the ones that can actually do something about it and make more space…

To me I think gaijin is trying to squeeze as many nations in as possible into existing trees I mean after this year you’ll like have in game now,

Germany - Switzerland
Britain - Western Commonwealth (Not as a sub but more of a dumb of nations that their home builders won’t need)
Japan - Asean (Thailand, Malaysia & Indonesia)
China - Pakistan & Bangladesh
Italy - Hungary & Romania
France - Benelux
Sweden - Denmark & Norway
Israel - Greece & Cyprus

That’s like over 14 nations

It’d be nice to get the Zrínyi I without the rockets for the tech tree as well, it’s such a shame Gaijin seems to have forgotten about sub-trees like Hungary and Finland.

i think they changes something about USSR ERA, they destabilized dart coming in like 45° to the sides?
now granted that i never have USSR top tier tanks, but i’m pretty sure this was new. since Oplot is different somehow

wouldnt be suprising since the ERA on the oplot works quite a bit different

Oplot ERA:

here is contact ERA(idk what version it is):
image

the ERA on the oplot is basically producing HEAT jets trying cut the dart apart
while the contact era flings a metal plate towards it

yeah, i guess…
but it’s not even work as intended though… it basically work similar as USSR ERA but worst

Yeah, though I have a little hope for this one, since it was a single prototype. On the other hand it shouldn’t be a problem because we have two Ostwind 2 for example.

Also I still can’t understand why they’ve decided to include BTR-80A and 2S1 into Hungarian line, but not something like IS-2 tanks and Panther, considering Italian large pool of light vehicles and a lack of armor (especially 0 heavy tanks in the regular tree).
