I have no proof for this but it seems that CF-188 are being integrated with AESA? Although I don’t have anything that indicates this integration has been completed.

CF-188 IMP I upgraded them from the APG-65 to APG-73 radars
then the recent CF-188 HEP stage 2 has upgraded them to APG-79(V)4

I swear the only reason they keep adding boats is to say their game has boats and naval
Most of the community and players don’t care about them. If they had opened a poll with something like “should we focus the development only on ground and air, and leave naval as is to have more resources and devs available for ground, air, and heli pve battles,” the poll would have been one-sided

That would be an entirely false poll however as different teams entirely, with different historical backgrounds, expertise and other areas entirely from air and ground. So that does not equate.
Perhaps Naval is something that doesn’t appeal to you personally, and thats entirely fine. There are other areas of the game to enjoy. But please dont claim to speak on behalf of others or everyone.

Naval probably only breaks even.
But if you want to populate naval, you don’t waste two gap fillers back to back for Germany, for example.
There is a visible gap at rank V in the German naval tree which can perfectly be filled with the Mackensen.
(The ship was barely finished, so a basic Ctrl+C and Ctrl+V should not require a new model for a tech tree Mackensen)
