Danish and Norwegian Spitfires

Oh that’s true, and there’s a line left for one more subtree so that works well

So they’re adding a bunch of subtree mosquitoes for Sweden, but not a single one for Israel still… what a shame

There is no pleasing everyone, Gaijin adds a new interesting vehicle they get accused of favouritism and encouraging fomo/ grind while leaving gaps in the TTs, Gaijin fills in vehicle gaps and long requested low level vehicles they get accused of padding TTs and increasing grind.

Imho the most recent leak list is probably the best balance between interesting heavily requested vehicles and adding in capabilities/ filling gaps in TTs Gaijin has done in a while.

Literally a combined Danske/Norge line would be best as we share similar arms with each other

I mean ground really hasn’t had such a vehicle until leviathans for the last years ever since the air superiority update.

I wouldn’t mind having gaps filled if the vehicles are at least interesting or if the gaps are somewhat critical.

M55 hardly fills a gap and is just boring, Stingray for the US tree is also kind of boring etc.

Oplot-T and BMD-4M2 are the only ground vehicles this update that fill a good hole and are also at least somewhat interesting. The M163, M60A3 TTS and the new AAs are not interesting, but at least they help the receiving nations or fill a hole. The T58 can be interesting but doesn’t fill a need and is very dependant on how Gaijin implements it.

What’s more weird is that they are adding Norge models but ignoring the actual Swedish night fighter model so i have no idea what the point of these mosquitoes are outside of giving a TT Norge aircraft while Norge isn’t even a swedish subtree.

Could be a way to give logic and reason for future stuff, say the Polish tree since that will give their mid tier some aircraft at least now

Polish, im gonna be honest i have no idea what you’re talking about, no offense

There was a leak with Poland being a tech tree, so if I’m guessing with the Mossies being a test bed then they can logical add exiled squadrons from other nations the same status as home service aircraft too fill out the ranks more

I feel its more so gaijin adding Norge/Danske vehicles without saying they are a confirmed subtree until theres another swedish focused update like Fire and Ice. Again sweden without Norge/Denmark is essentially done air wise for most BR’s and its not like any other nation has needs for either of our nations aside from a unified Scandi tree that sweden is slowly becoming.

Give it a year or two and maybe we will see gaijin mention Danske/Norge subtrees but for now they just don’t have a focus for any update to worth mentioning if they are subs or not.

But who knows i could very well be wrong in my assumption

The lack of actual Swedish mosquitoes are also interesting. Because it takes more than a new skin to implement

Just have to see when the blog comes out, but it’s gonna be interesting to see their logic

@Clap6005-live
None of the above.

On another note…
Glad to see USSR, Britain, Italy, and France get competent SPAA next update for the strongest CAS.
Can’t call said CAS OP anymore cause they’re no where close to OP now.

Well you have people who argue the Norge F-5A should have gone to the US or the Leo to Germany, again unless gaijin is under the idea that they are a subtree of sweden they should have technically gone to their home nation.

Mosquito NF. Not that it won’t be copy pasted into multiple trees. Somehow we still don’t have.

If i had to guess its CAS, Norway has always had a larger selection of CAS compared to other nordic nations

But unlike these the Mossies are purely RAF, especially the MK.II iirc we built them, they were part of the RAF but used by Norwegian exiles that’s the only link to Norway is the pilots which make it odd

When USA already has a Vietnam modified F-5A as a premium, they’re doing fine.

I am so tired of greedy posts saying sub trees can’t exist.
My tech trees have hilariously unique lineups that wouldn’t be as unique without those vehicles.

And of course I can fly or not fly aircraft depending on preference.

Of course sub-tree has never been a requirement for vehicles; See RAM-2, F-111C, etc.

Ive heard that some mosquitoes were modified for larger bomb loads but i could be wrong, im more familiar with Danske vehicles at the time over Norge, im sure its been mentioned in a forum post discussing gap fillers for sweden before.
