Honestly, if the Hornet wasn’t such a depressingly boring platform to play at 14.0 I would probably have grinded the Canadian one for the skins alone.
Unless these leaked Hornets are both Sparrow versions at a 12.3-13.0 that are actually somewhat fun and not 14.0 ones.

If they are 14.0 I’ll be mad, because they add nothing. If they are 12.7, i’ll be annoyed by the lazy C&P but at least they added something to the tree that we did actually lack. Something they’ve failed to do with 99% of the sub-TT vehicles we’ve gotten elsewhere

Sure, but like the Paint scheme of the skin
Also, do you know if the Vark and Su-24M will keep there MAW on the Nuke Version?

Can’t have a filler update without copy and pasting as many boring howitzer tanks to as many trees as possible.
Would be cool if they have some unique weapons, but yeah I think they’ll just copy and paste the 18A and 18C (early) if we are lucky. If they feel like trolling they’ll make one of the Hornets a 14.0 one.
And seem like they will continue to fail in doing. Just look at the M55.

12.3/12.7 would be okay, as we lack a true dogfighter at that BR. Whilst I think the F3 is actually quite decent, it does have a weakness.
But what unique weapon options are there?

Idk the Swiss Hornets use AIM-9P-5 irl so I assumed that surely the Canadians and Australians use some unique weapons.
If they don’t that is also fine, as long as they give them enough cool skins to compensate.

A whole new meaning to cluster bombs

A2A - only ASRAAM (and I have doubts it’s coming unless they deport the Aussie hornet to 14.3).
A2G - Maybe cope for a CRV-7 fix on the Canadian hornet (they’re modelled as hydras in game but they’re not the same thing at all)

The only one I know is the RAAF legacy hornet used ASRAAM.
We could also get the RAAF Hornet that trialed Blue Vixen on the airframe as well

I haven’t played the M109 in a good while and I haven’t even touched the M44s at all yet. This is the way.
However I mostly played the M109 before the whole howitzer hype became massively overdone.

I doubt we are getting the version of the CF-188 that has an AESA radar irl.

i mean gaijin did say they wanted to add more AESAs at top-ish tier… so it’s a possibility at least (i doubt it’ll happen as well fwiw)

Oh god, that is 100% something they would do… Deny CAPTOR-E by slapping an AESA on an F-18 C&P at 14.3
I believe even among all the upgrades, the most unique weapon is the CRV7s, and even then, it’s not that unique.
The McDonnell Douglas CF-18 Hornet (official military designation CF-188) is a Royal Canadian Air Force (RCAF) variant of the American McDonnell Douglas F/A-18 Hornet fighter aircraft. In 1980, the F/A-18 was selected as the winner of the New Fighter Aircraft Project competition to replace the CF-104 Starfighter, CF-101 Voodoo and the CF-116 Freedom Fighter. Deliveries of the CF-18 to the Canadian Armed Forces began in 1982. CF-18s have supported North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD...
