Nelson removes catapult in 1940s, and after 1940s Nelson went to refit much more time than Rodney. Because she usually got hit by mine or something and went to repair, and then Rodney was put in the field in exchange of her.
For 1945 HMS Nelson, she is one of best AA armed British battleship along with 4 quadruple bofors.
Real question is how will they implement it, they could go the Swiss route and just make it a clone of the other 14.0 hornets so that it has effective CAS, but given its thr only other nation to use BOL in service with their legacy models it makes me wonder if they’ll make it worthless for CAS because of BOL as thats the trade off for BOL.
I still argue the Tornado F3 holds it own. Especially if ever finished. I know i’ve destroyed enough F-18s in the F3 at least. But we do lack something more dogfight orientated
Also when saying only other nation. Both the Australians and Finnish are the only nations i know irl they use BOL in service with their legacy hornets.
It’s an F/A-18A unless they add different armaments, aka one of the upgrades(and one of the later upgrades as well, like IMP II), should be the same BR as the US 18A.
