Next Major Update - Rumor Round-Up & Discussion (Part 2)

I don’t think vehicles that were ordered but not yet delivered should be on the list since they don’t qualify to be added into the game just yet. But interesting list nonetheless.

F-20 / Mig-21 Bison

not sure which one was first

On the grounds the F16C and F15E are lower as well…I don’t think it’s a factor at all.

But if the GR4 was placed alongside the F111F at 11.7…it could be taken with our 11.7 lineup instead of being a waste of space at 12.3.

Also again. GRB isn’t the only gamemode… Brimstone 2s would give a reason to use them in air modes which again, is kinda the point. Almost no reason to ever take in air modes currently

That only applies to literally 3 vehicles being MICA, skyranger and SLM everything else already exists in service solidk what you’re assuming can’t be added.

Was the 50km range ever reported btw?

The problem is, if the missile reaches it, it is fine. I tested a SPYDER too, at the 20km range in a slowly moving harrier the derby fell out of the sky, but it reached the 20km, so datapoint is met and it is fine.

that can easily be solved by adding chaff elements to smoke grenades

Spyder is the only vehicle in this game that almost made me physically pull my hear out. Which impressive since I have over 1200 vehicles researched and purchased.

Idk, not by me.

For something that showcases the disparity in modeling, it doesn’t require sources.

When flying towards a target 64km away.
Thats not during its effective range.

This shouldnt even be allowed as a basis

I don’t have them either, but the fact that Japan, Sweden and China are still limited to very short range SAMs while the rest of the world has medium range SAMs (which are long range for the purpose of WT) isn’t very balanced.
From what I’ve read their missiles don’t really do even do that well within their range compared to the longer range SAMs

Also, I think that the SLM max speed is actually dependent on target altitude and not necessarily the 64km range, I think people are getting hung up on the 64km range when a higher target within 40km at like 38km would cause the missile to have the trajectory that allows for Mach 3.

CS/SA-5 are lackluster. The missiles will go for the munition if the aircraft launches it even though you have a lock on the aircraft. You can barrel roll the missile lol

Guys, if we are diacussing the SLM or existing systems, please take it to the appropriate topics.

The people are mad on this fact, as 64km is what was used to force missile loft algorithm to go high enough in order to reach Mach 3.
In normal games you won’t even think of firing there, so the loft will not be that aggressive.

Only one SPAA of the new ones added doesn’t have Datalink and has the least amount of missiles with the shortest range, still no idea why its 12.0 but usual snail balance

Hell Tan Sam Kai is barely better than the Elde in the range department

Well since I’ve woken up properly now and I had a look to see if there anything new and I found this, what does it mean and what is the X-4 ?
