Gr4 hasn’t got longer ranged weapons. If anything they are shorter ranges than the AGM-65s. And they are far easier to intercept.
So why is the Gr4 a HIGHER BR than the Gripen A or F16A?
AGM-65A that the Gripen A has is incredibly short range for 12.0. It’s what, around 6km max range to lock on to moving targets?
PGMs in my experience don’t track moving targets. (Even test flights, they rarely will track) Better to consider them as GPS guided weapons and use them accordingly.
But again. Why is the GR4 a higher BR than the Gripen A?
The Appache will probably be a menace
maybe. if they model it correctly it should be initially laser then moves to IIR for accuracy. I don’t think there would be any seeker limitations for 16kms if they could ground launch it and still hit a target 16km away.
PGMs have an IR thermal seeker that works from like 10km away for tracking, whereas the agm65 on gripen and and f16 are TV seekers than cant track from more than like 5km
They dont turn well enough to track. Even slow moving targets they miss. Though again, still means firing them within 10km which you don’t stand a chance of surviving in the GR4. Also at 11.7 is the F111F with 6x AGM-65D
Legacy BR probably. Same reason why the A-10C is 12.0.
Looks like it, but I’ll wait to see how they end up releasing it. I also had hope for the new AAs last update, and look how that turned out lol.
I did make a small error. Apparently the RB 75T max range to track targets is 10-12km. Good although still not even close to the PGMs range of 20km for tracking moving targets.
only barely, the seeker loses track a lot at that range as it doesnt have any zoom itself

that would be too op, 16 missile and good damage, out of SACLOS spaa’s range(except Pantsir).
only 2 DL+IR SPAA can deal with it
So would you be opposed to SAL Brimstone 2s on the Gr4 or a BR drop for the GR4 or is that an unreasonable Brit main request?
And if SAL Brimstone 1s arent worth even mentioning compared to AGM-65B/Ds are they worth mentioning Vs KH-38MT and AASMs?

Heck does it even get decent ammo belts for it’s gun?
Every other nations get massive buffs all the time. Heck Rafale is the most OP thing in the game and has gotten major buffs every major update so far. Typhoon get some fixes is unreasonable?
They barely travel 10km. Let alone track from 10km. To get them to travel much more than that, you need to drop from like 20k ft.
They are glide bombs not AGMs for all intent and purposes
If it get CIRCM it would be immune to IR missiles and due to how Helicopters are modeled ARH will have a hard time hitting it paired with its F&F Jagm it should be pretty good properly the best but we will have to see

against a static target they can travel 15km from only 3km altitude (at 0.8m), pgms are good, plus they benefit from being actual bombs
Using them in ARB. I found they rarely impacted targets if I fired greater than 8-10km away from a height of about 750-1000m.
Usually self destructed long before they got close.
PGMs only issue is they are slow and you got to drop them right or they will just hit the ground
