It’s not so much about wanting the Hornet as about how the Aussies and Canadians are treated (i.e. in one tech tree, split up, etc.), and what it might mean for other vehicles of ours. Aussies and Canadians really want a single tech tree home, and not have our vehicles split between trees making lineups impossible, and the grind 2-3 times as much.
Nation folders would help every tech tree and every operator nation a lot, but Gaijin currently has no plans for that. So the UK just made the most sense for us, especially with how many of our other vehicles are already there.

The premium Canadian Leo is a 2A4. Britain either gets the Singaporean one or none at all
