Gaijin has implemented next-gen IR missiles to ground vehicles first cause the BRs are more generous when ground launched.
No one’s killing a Super Etendard or Q-5L using a ground launched Stinger or Strela missile as examples.

Super Eternard is 11.0 and most stingers are lower than 10.0.
SE has a better chance of seeing IRIS-T SLM than Stingers

Yeah… 11.0-12.3 CAS is nearly entirely DOA against most of the 12.0 SPAA at the moment

It suffers from the curse of being an ok French plane with really good missiles so its higher in br as a result. For other examples of this see the Mirage F.1

Not sure how people can be upset that I defended the French instead of being a shill for the Soviets…
Super Etendard isn’t the only thing currently 11.0 in ground battles, all of which suffer from the compressed top end SPAA, 6 tech trees if we omit JA37C and Kfir C2… not just France.
I played SE in ground when it was still 10.3.
I also played Q-5L when it could face Type 81 which sadly also lacked the range at the time.
They were examples based on the date of implementation of those anti-air systems and aircraft, not the current BRs. @Morvran
Just up BR it one more time and give it Magic IIs.
