Next Major Update - Rumor Round-Up & Discussion (Part 2)

Gaijin be gaijin

They should really remove starstreak from AH mk1 and add it to AH-64D then. If not, this is still their chance to do better and add it to the right one this time

Again, the AMX 10RC is the same turret which is why i compared it. Additionally they are more similar HP/t as they have different weight and HP. Both can neutral steer. Just the AMX has a thermal sight. Both tanks lack an autoloader and have a 7.5s reload Ace crew.

Again it simply wouldn’t make sense to have the TML be 9.3 without a stabilizer but given gaijin loves to make no sense 90% of the time and this isn’t a 10.3+ leo i wouldn’t be suprised if its just a worse AMX an entire BR above it.

it isn’t happening you are getting JAGM in SAL only and that will properly be it

Starstreak was only tested on a US Ah-64D and look what Apache it is only on

I don’t know why you will think this will be any different

They won’t because they wanted the UK one to have Startstreak

Same reason all the Eurofighters have Paveway IV and Brimstone

Because that is what Gajin wanted

As Smin stated Artificial differences

So they should just keep on giving Britain favored treatment?

AIM-9Ms are compatible and a great IRCCM missile.
Full fuel with missiles says 12.8 tons which we know full fuel & missiles is .6 from weapons and 2.7 from fuel for a total of 3.3 minimum. 12.8 - 3.3 is a maximum empty mass of 9.5 tons. That’s not accounting 100kg from Derby mass, pilot mass, or cannon mass.

The engine mass is also incorrect on that chart.

What favourable treatment?

Does this mean we can finally get Napalm on our F-4s?

Or Flares for the GR1 like the F-5C got flares?

I just hate that this is another update that adds a bunch of vehicles to the tree that weren’t needed and aren’t even operated by Britain or its subtrees. Like, what’s the point of having subtrees if Gaijin just adds more vehicles from a third party (yes, I know, Commonwealth would be closer to second party realistically, but Canada and Australia aren’t subtrees) instead.

If I had the choice I would give the Ram to the BeNeLux subtree, as the Netherlands had a bunch of them apparently.

At least we can agree on that

Heres the quote

Getting a missile you never integrated but also having that missile be withheld from the nation whose helicopters actually had it

Then DIRCM on the British AH-64E then with Spike-ER

UK never got or integrated either

I think they’ll just give the TML DM23 and place it somewhere around 8.7-9.0.

Better ammo means even more of a nightmare to balance.

I have the Cromwell RP-3, it’s hard to make use of the rockets, but when you hit someone it’s extremely satisfying

As someone that loves MLRS and tanks with rocketlaunchers I definitely have to recommend it though

some rams to the dutch would be great, but export vehicles should only exist if the parent nation has already got them. in other words british tree first then add to the dutch

Its coming after the IKV 91-105 so that wouldn’t make sense. Normally foldered vehicles only have a lower BR after BR changes when they were lower before, sweden 8.7 also got nuked and has no real lineup so it wouldn’t be worth playing.

The GR1 would go straight up to 10.3 with flares, so I don’t know if I would want it to have flares
